Corcyra (Corfu), the mermaid shaped island, remembers a time when her waters were clean, her creatures thrived and we lived with water in peace, together as one.

This is also said to be ancient Scheria, the place where the mythical hero Ulysses remembers who he was, as he recounts the trials and tribulations of his journey to the court of King Alkinoos: the King of Ithaca on his way Home to his Queen Penelope.
