from the Island of Corfu

TOGETHER we can find solutions for our community, for water and with water,
thinking globally but taking action locally
Your presence and contribution at the annual fundraising WATER CONSCIOUS GATHERING on the 1st and 2nd of October, in Arillas Corfu will help raise our awareness of water, find common solutions for water, as well as help us build a warm water container of water for therapeutic and educational purposes in our community.

About Us

 The WATER CONSCIOUS GATHERING is an urgent heart call to action for the wellbeing of water by aquatic educator and therapist Sophia Michalopoulou, who grew up on the island of Corfu, Greece. She is hoping to raise the funds for an all year round warm water pool to learn, heal and remember more of who we are with water.
​
This call is being supported by Corfu Buddha Hall, the Nectar Collective, Mermaids Corfu, Water Happy, Green Corfu,
​Feeling Sound, Flow Point
and by many friends, colleagues, local businesses, water bearers and protectors locally and from around the world,
including Apostolia Papadamaki, Matt Thornton and Javier Gonzalez.
The social cooperative Flow 42 is the organizer of this community orientated initiative.

Corfu Buddha Hall

Corfu Buddha Hall has generously donated its beautiful and powerful space for this gathering to take place, as this is above all a community focused initiative, because the wellbeing of water impacts all of us.
